In June , we discovered something that would change our lives forever. We found out I was pregnant. We had only been dating about 3 and half months. I was nervous, excited, but mostly scared. I had fallen in love with this man, but would our feelings change because of this? Once we finally had absorbed the news, we decided it was time to tell our families. Both sides were not the happiest of campers. We were judged and I was told by my sister, that If I can have a kid, I can move out. I was rather shocked by that, since we never discussed moving in together, not to mention the fact he was still living with family. The same day we found out I was pregnant, I moved in with Jeremy. My family urged us to get married immideatly, but we were not to sure that was the best thing to do, just because of the pregnancy. Even though we had family and friends pushing us to marry as soon as possiable, we took our time and discussed what we both thought marriage was about. We found that we both viewed marriage and family very closly and through enough talking and crying we both agreed that we had found the person we wanted to be with. We got married November 14th, two days before Jeremy's birthday. We got married at a friend's house, whose father was a preacher. It was a small but happy wedding and after the cermony we went to eat at Little Dareyls Pizza lol.
I met my husband, orginally when I was 13 years old and when he was 20 years old. We never expected in that 2 minute introduction that we would be married only 4 years later!
I moved to Tennessee from Florida in March 2003. Jeremy worked for Midtnn.net and worked with my brother-in-law. On Saturdays,Mark, my brother-in-law, would go to a friends house and play a game called Magic the Gathering. I had been stuck in the house for several days and was rather restless. To get me out of the house and into the social ring, my brother took me with him to one of his games. It was there I met Jeremy again. The whole time they played games, I marveled at his eyes and wondered if I had a chance to hook up with him. I left that night without saying one word to him. The second time I went to the game, I went with another gentlemen who had invited me, hoping Jeremy would be there I accepted. When I got there, I was determined to muster the courage to ask him to dinner or a movie, but alas we had some good laughs and a great conversation ( as a group, we never could get a moment alone). I did however get his aim name.
Back at my sister's house, where I was living at the time, I messaged Jeremy while he was at work. I was nervous and hoping I wouldn't say anything to screw it up. We exchanged hellos, and talked casual for a few minutes, then I popped the question..no not that question, not before the first date people! I poped the date question. I asked if he would like to get together just the two of us and hang out. To my surprise he didn't shut me down. Why would he you ask. Well as you prolly noticed, when we first met at 13 and 20 our age difference was a big issue, and I was concerned that me being now 15 and him 23, he wouldn't be interested. Luckily, he was not put off by my age and gave me a chance to show him that I was a level headed woman that knew exactly what I wanted.
Our first date was at Fizolies Itilian restruant. We had a wonderful time talking about family and friends and just getting to know one another. He was such a moosh pot, always saying sweet things and complimenting me, I had never been swooned so nicley in my life. I was in love, but I couldn't let on so quickly lol. We dated steadily instantly. He would pick me up every day after work, and we would watch movies, listen to music, have a drink, make love, and just be the happiest couple on the earth.
It's been 5 years married now since November 2003. We have rised and fallen in a number of obsticles that are put in front of any and every couple. We are raising a beautiful girl, who is now 5. We have visions of us getting old together, and are looking to buy our first home in 2010. We are truley the best for each other, we know that now more then ever before.
